Area Students Create Coloring Book for William Woods University
2012 Jun 14Coloring books have always been a fun activity for children. Now William Woods University graphic design students have created one featuring their campus. Students enrolled in the Real World Design Studio class work on projects in the community for actual clients. One of this year's clients was the campus Logo Store. Gwynne LaRue, WWU Logo Store manager, asked the class to create a campus-oriented coloring book she could sell in the store. Amanda Seitter of Peculiar, Mo., a May graphic design graduate, was project leader for the coloring book. She researched publishers, planned the layout, and then sought out other WWU art students to contribute their artwork to the project.
