Maryiah Fulsom Named to Who's Who at William Woods University

Maryiah Fulsom of Mexico, Mo., has been named to the 2014 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges" at William Woods University.

Fulsom was one of 16 WWU students selected for Who's Who based on outstanding campus leadership.

A campus nominating committee and editors of the annual directory chose the Who's Who students based on academic achievement, community service, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

By being listed in "Who's Who," Fulsom joins an elite group of students from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.

Fulsom served as the head community adviser for her residence hall for two years. She was also a University Ambassador and telecounselor for the Office of Admissions. In addition, she was a member of Collegiate DECA, Multicultural Affairs Club and Campus Activities Board.
