Ali Herzog Participates in Germantown Horse Show

William Woods University's hunter/jumper students spent a week in Germantown, Tenn., this spring at the Spring Time Encore show.

Ali Herzog of Barrington, IL, showed Blue October in the Limit Rider Hunter and the Pre-Adult divisions. The pair won a blue ribbon in one of their Limit Rider Hunter classes, and second in each of the remaining Limit Rider classes. They also placed third in one of their Pre-Adult classes and brought home a variety of other ribbons.. Herzog is a senior equine administration and equestrian science major.

Linda McClaren, a professor of equestrian studies at WWU, took 24 riders, 26 horses and five student grooms to the show, which took place at the Germantown Charity Show grounds and was sponsored by the West Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association.
