Bailey Campanini to perform with choir at WIlliam Woods University

2012 Apr 6

William Woods University's show choir, First Impressions, has been practicing since October, and members are eager to show off their talents. The group will host the Wonderland Concert at 7 p.m. Friday, April 13, in Dulany Auditorium.

Bailey Campanini , a junior from Camdenton, Mo., is a member of the choir.

The concert will be a journey though the imagination with a variety of musical genres including pop, rock, swing, Broadway and gospel. A special visit to Wonderland is in store, with popular characters like Alice, the Cheshire Cat and the Queen of Hearts.

Rebecca Talbert, an adjunct faculty member, and her string quartet will perform after the intermission, playing popular music with a classical twist.

Michael Dodson, graduate assistant for WWU's theatre program, is the sponsor for First Impressions.

"Every member of First Impressions has a solo in the show," he said. "They all lend their talents to make each song and performance the best it can be."
