Joanie Ryan inducted into biology honor society at William Woods University

Joanie Ryan of Longmont, Colo., was inducted into the Pi Phi chapter of the Beta Beta Beta (Tri Beta) national biological honor society during the 2013-14 academic year.

Beta Beta Beta is a national biological honor society for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study, as well as extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.

To be eligible for initiation, students must complete a minimum of three biology majors' classes at WWU, with a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 in their biology classes.
