Katie Hodges Participates in Germantown Horse Show

William Woods University's hunter/jumper students spent a week in Germantown, Tenn., this spring at the Spring Time Encore show.

Katie Hodges of San Antonio, TX, showed Nefris in the .85 meter and the Low Child Adult Jumpers. Horse and rider brought home a second in one of their .85 meter Jumper classes, a third in one of their Low Child Adult Jumper classes and seventh in another Low Child Adult Jumper class.. Hodges is a freshman business administration and equestrian science major.

Linda McClaren, a professor of equestrian studies at WWU, took 24 riders, 26 horses and five student grooms to the show, which took place at the Germantown Charity Show grounds and was sponsored by the West Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association.
