Reagan receives Cockrell Award at William Woods University

Brandy Reagan recently received the prestigious Cockrell Award at William Woods University.

The Cockrell Award is presented to the graduating senior who has participated in a variety of campus activities, serving as an officer or chair and who has held membership in honorary groups. The student must exemplify outstanding campus citizenship, contribute to society, exhibit loyalty to the university and its policies and have a genuine regard for others in personal relationships.

Reagan was actively involved on campus, serving as a University Ambassador, a university telecounselor, a member of the Student Finance Committee, vice president and president of Active Minds and sales manager for The Hoot student magazine. She served in numerous roles for her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, including president.

She was vice president of membership programming and president for Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society and president of the Order of Omega Greek Honor Society.

During her four years as a representative for Student Alumni Council, she served a year as class president, a year as coordinator of the Outstanding Student Awards program and two years as treasurer.

She was a member of Student Assembly, Campus Activities Board, Students Today/Alumni Tomorrow, International Justice Mission, Yoga at the Woods and Sigma Alpha Pi National Society of Leadership and Success.

Reagan was named the Student Alumni Council Outstanding Sophomore, Outstanding Junior and Outstanding Senior; Outstanding Greek Sophomore; and Outstanding Member of Alpha Chi Omega. She also was chosen to be listed in "Who's Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges."
