Sarah Slutz Participates in Germantown Horse Show

William Woods University's hunter/jumper students spent a week in Germantown, Tenn., this spring at the Spring Time Encore show.

Sarah Slutz of Middleton, ID, showed Remington in the Performance Hunter 3'3", Pre-Green Hunter and Adult Amateur 18-35 divisions. Horse and rider brought home third in one of their Adult Amateur classes and never placed below fifth.. Slutz is a senior equestrian science major.

Linda McClaren, a professor of equestrian studies at WWU, took 24 riders, 26 horses and five student grooms to the show, which took place at the Germantown Charity Show grounds and was sponsored by the West Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association.
