Trevor Gruber to Perform with William Woods University's Show Choir

The First Impressions Show Choir of William Woods University will perform a fall concert with musical numbers from the pop genrea"complete with costumes and dancing.

Trevor Gruber of Holt, Mo., is one of the singers.

The concert, which is free and open to the public, begins at 8 p.m. Dec. 9 in Dulany Auditorium.

Songs to be performed include "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" arranged by Michael Dodson, "Cups/When I'm Gone" by Anna Kendrick, "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons, "I Know Where I've Been" from "Hairspray, the Musical," "I Believe I Can Fly" by R. Kelly, "Some Nights" by Fun and "Brighter Than the Sun" by Colbie Caillat.

The choir is student-directed by Maggie Hunter of Columbia, Mo., and founded and directed by Michael Dodson.

"I'm really excited that our numbers have grown this year from 15 to 25 participants, and we've had multiple opportunities to sing on campus and at special university events," Dodson said.
