Valerie Scheirer receives award for student portfolio

Valerie Scheirer of Naperville, Illinois (60540) received an award for technical approach, communications, during annual portfolio reviews at William Woods University. Students in the art, theatre and communications areas received achievement awards.

Students presented their portfolios in front of various faculty and staff members, as well as working professionals. They were judged on their presentation in a variety of categories, based on the work they've done while at WWU.

The purpose of the review is to assess the educational development and growth of the students and award those who have excelled in their field.
