WWU Rider, Sierra Schmidt, Competes at Color Breed Congress

William Woods University's Western riders competed at Color Breed Congress Nov. 5-10 in Tulsa, Okla., winning a number of top 10 awards.
Sierra Schmidt of Neenah, Wis. on Balido KA - two Top Fives, three Top 10s.
"Congress was awesome," said Liz Kuda, adjunct Western clinical instructor. "With the number of new Congress riders and horses, I was very pleased with the outcome. It was a very successful show!"
Jennie Petterson, chair of the equestrian studies division, said, "The group of students who attended Color Congress did a wonderful job supporting each other and helping get everyone in the ring. The show environment can be so stressful, and I felt like this group handled themselves with great professionalism and stayed positive throughout the show."
