William Woods University student Nikki Bell competes in Color Breed Congress

Nikki Bell of Mukilteo, Washington, 98275 competed in the Color Breed Congress in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is a senior elementary education and equestrian science major at William Woods University.

Bell was second place Reserve Champion in PtHA Am Jr. Ideal Pinto English and PtHA Am Jr. Discipline Rail English and third place in PtHA AM Jr Hunter Under Saddle.

Altogether, nine WWU students and university-owned horses competed Nov. 10-15 at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at the Expo Square in Tulsa. Exhibitors from all over the country compete within breeds as well as against one another in the Champion of Champion Classes.

The Color Breed Congress encompasses shows for four separate breeds into one--the Pinto Horse Association, Palomino Horse Breeders of America, Appaloosa Horse Club and American Buckskin Registry.
